Museum’s new main exhibition explores working-class history from the 19th century to the present day.
United is an exhibition which highlights the experiences of ordinary people and invites the visitor to join the story of better future built together.
At the exhibition, children can play in a co-op shop called “Vekara” (Finnish word meaning little child).
The exhibition also displays a museum printing press, where you can find volunteer printers using printing machines.
The exhibition also features a workers community hall, where you can find red flags of labour movement associations hanging from the ceiling, depicting diverse civic engagement. The community hall also exudes a festive atmosphere with its stage and dance floor, which indicate that the space has also seen a lot of parties and celebrations!
